Why do I need an Opus1 profile?View and manage your schedule: See upcoming lessons, events, and studio bookings at a glance. Cancel or reschedule lessons: Easily make changes to your schedule with just a few clicks. Book makeup lessons: Find available time slots and schedule makeups for missed lessons. Set up automated billing: Simplify payments with secure, automatic billing options. Access attendance reports: Keep track of your lesson attendance and progress. Take online video lessons: Connect with your instructor for virtual lessons from anywhere. Communicate with Making Light staff: Easily contact us with any questions or concerns.

How do I log into Opus1?Visit the Opus1 login page by clicking the button at the top of this page. If it is your first time logging in click the Get A Login Link By Email button. Returning visitors, enter your email that you used to register and your password. You can also click the MY ACCOUNT button in your lesson or class reminder emails to login to your Opus1 account. If you are registering your child, don't forget to add them as a dependent before signing up for lessons.

Can I add a child or dependent to my Opus1 account?Yes! Log into your account using the button at the top of this page. Click on the Add Dependent icon on the left (looks like a little person with a +). Complete the resulting form and click Add Dependent to complete the process.

Tell me about the Opus1 Dashboard.When you log into Opus1, you will arrive at your Dashboard. Once in the dashboard, you can check your upcoming schedule, makeup credits, instructor comments, subscriptions, and invoices! We will talk about these later. But first, let us explain the icons that appear on the left side (right under our school’s logo). Update profile - here you can update your personal information or your child’s personal information. Also, at the bottom of the page, you’ll see a small section called ‘Client Email Notifications’, where you can opt out of receiving emails. Update payment methods - here you can see the credit card(s) that you have on file. You can add multiple cards and delete expired cards. Show details - you can toggle this on or off to show or hide your details. Manage files - you can upload your child’s music or other material here. Change password - forgot your password? No worries! You’ll receive a temporary access link through email and then you can update your password here. Sync my calendar - you can sync your lesson schedule with your personal calendar here.

How do I update my profile information and communication preferences in Opus1?Log into your account using the button at the top of this page. Click on the Edit icon to the left (looks a pencil). Edit your information as needed. Click on Add Phone Number to add or edit your phone number. Toggle each checkbox to turn on/off Email and SMS/text notifications to your preferences. Be careful though, you don't want to miss important communications! Click Update to finalize your changes.

How do I set up payments in Opus1?Sign in to your account using the button at the top of this page. Click the credit card icon on the upper left of your profile tile. Click Add Payment Method button. Enter your payment information. Click Add Payment Method.

How do I review and accept Terms and Conditions in Opus1?Log into your account using the button at the top of this page. Scroll down on your profile page to the Subscriptions section and click the Review/accept terms button. Review cancellation, makeup and payment policies and toggle the Agreed button to accept. Click the Submit button to accept the terms and conditions.

Can I cancel lessons online with Opus1?You can! Here's how: Log into your account using the button at the top of this page. Select the date that you would like to cancel and click the Cancel button. Review the terms and conditions and confirm the cancellation by clicking Continue with Cancellation. Note that you cannot cancel group classes, just private one-on-one lessons.

Can I schedule makeup lessons in Opus1?You can! Here's how: Log into your account using the button at the top of this page. Scroll to Credits section to see if you have makeup credits available. If you have credits on your account, click the Use button to schedule your visit. Select a staff member for your makeup lesson. Select the date for your makeup lesson. Select a time slot for your makeup lesson. Click on the Book button to continue. Review the terms and conditions and select the checkbox to accept makeup lesson terms. Click on the Book button to confirm your makeup lesson.

Subscriptions and InvoicesThe Subscriptions section is where you can review your terms (our school’s policy), how many available credits you have in the next 90 days, and how many credit cancellations you have left. The Invoices section is you can see the total for the upcoming month. If you click on Details, you can check out credits and discounts that were applied to your account. You are also able to pay online by clicking the Pay button if you are not enrolled in autopay.

How do I get a copy of my invoice?Log into your account using the button at the top of this page. Scroll down to the Invoices section of your profile page. Click See All Invoices. Click the Details button for the invoice you're interested in. Click Save as PDF.

What is LessonMate?LessonMate is a video makeup lesson recorded by your teacher with curated educational materials related to your learning objectives. If you can't make a lesson and don't have time to make it up in person, a LessonMate lesson is a great alternative! You can request a LessonMate online through the Opus1 scheduling portal. Log into your account using the button at the top of this page. In the Upcoming Schedule tile, find the lesson that you would like to request a LessonMate video makeup and click the Request LessonMate button. Click the Proceed button to confirm. Your teacher is notified and will send the LessonMate video makeup instead of meeting for an in-person lesson.
