Private Music, Dance, Acting & Art Lessons in Tallahassee
Making Light Productions offers one-on-one private lessons in music, dance, acting, visual art, sewing, and film production for children, teens, and adults in Tallahassee. Students can study voice, piano, guitar, ukulele, acting, dance, visual art, sewing, and film production with experienced instructors.

Lessons are personalized around each student’s goals, interests, experience, communication style, learning needs, and pace. Beginners are welcome, and instruction is available for neurodivergent, disabled, and neurotypical students.

Because private lessons are part of the larger Making Light community, students may also choose to participate in group classes, theatrical productions, recitals, workshops, camps, film projects, and other performance or creative opportunities.

Our instructors work with students pursuing many different goals, including learning a new skill, developing technique, preparing for an audition or performance, building confidence, and enjoying the arts in a supportive setting. Lessons are adapted to the individual student rather than expecting every student to learn in the same way.
