HOMESCHOOL CLASSES
Our homeschool classes provide a welcoming place for students to learn, create, perform, and connect with other homeschool families. Through theatre and the arts, students build confidence, creativity, friendships, and practical artistic skills in a fun, supportive environment.

If you would like to use an FES/UA or PEP scholarship, please see the instructions on how to do that here.

Devised Theatre | Ages 8–18 | Tuesdays at 11:30 AM
Students create an original theatrical work from the ground up using their own ideas. Through collaborative brainstorming, improvisation, character development, scriptwriting, and rehearsal, the class turns those ideas into original scenes and stories.

Rather than beginning with an existing script, students help shape every part of the work they create and present. No previous acting or writing experience is required.
Homeschool Stagecraft & Costuming | Ages 10–18 | Tuesdays at 12:30 PM
Homeschool students explore the visual and technical elements that bring theatrical productions together. Through hands-on projects, students learn about costume design, props, scenic design, stagecraft, dramaturgy, and production planning.

Students build practical creative skills while learning how different design areas work together to support a production. No previous theatre, sewing, or stagecraft experience is required.

Thespians Troupe 11452 | Ages 11–19 | Tuesdays at 10:00
Making Light Productions is home to International Thespian Society Troupe 11452 for homeschooled theatre students. Members earn points through theatre participation and service, take part in troupe activities, and may qualify for formal induction and national recognition.
