Tallahassee Children's Theatre

Making Light is thrilled to announce our next production of the Tallahassee Children’s Theatre at MLP: Directed by Joe Svisco, Pete the Cat will run June 27 – 28 at the Making Light Theatre, presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals.
Based on the beloved books by Kimberly Dean and James Dean, this groovy musical adventure follows the laid-back, guitar-playing cat who shows a family—and a very organized young boy—that life is better when you roll with it. With upbeat music, playful storytelling, and a heartwarming message about friendship and creativity, Pete the Cat is a fun-filled journey that’s perfect for audiences of all ages.

This performance will include adjusted sound levels, a welcoming approach to movement and vocalization, and the option to take breaks as needed.

We will also have sensory support bags available with items that may help audience members feel more comfortable during the show. Families are also welcome to bring their own headphones, fidgets, or other supports.
