Darci Brown wears many hats as an elementary school teacher and a dance instructor at Making Light Productions. She has been a dynamic presence both on stage and behind the scenes in many local theatres. As a choreographer, Darci has helmed numerous productions, including Firebringer at Making Light Productions, The Sound of Music, Pippin, and Anything Goes at Quincy Music Theatre, Singin’ in the Rain at Theatre Tallahassee, and Peter and the Starcatcher at TSC. She is known for her imaginative "propography" in shows like Alice by Heart, where her choreography captured the dreamlike qualities of the story. Recently, Darci performed in the ensemble of Damn Yankees at Quincy Music Theatre and is also part of Making Light’s upcoming production of Stinky Cheese Man. Whether teaching dance or bringing choreography to life on stage, Darci’s passion and talent shine through in everything she does.
