Juliet Yaques, Executive Director



Juliet Yaques, the co-founder of Making Light, brings a wealth of experience and passion to the world of children's theatre. Her artistic journey began with a recorder in third grade, and since then she has mastered multiple instruments including flute, saxophone, and piano. With a diverse musical background that includes performing in prestigious ensembles like the U.S. Marine Corps 2d Marine Division Band, as well as rocking out in local bands, Juliet's love for music knows no bounds.


In addition to her musical pursuits, Juliet holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Florida State University and has been working as a dedicated Project Manager for a federal agency for over 27 years. Her commitment to excellence extends beyond her professional career, as evidenced by her national volunteer service award for her outstanding contributions to Making Light.


Always seeking to enhance the theatre experience, Juliet's latest fascination lies in exploring the creative possibilities of lights and other DMX-enabled elements. Her determination to create captivating and immersive productions fuels her dedication to pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved on stage.


Juliet's unwavering commitment to the arts, coupled with her technical expertise and genuine love for children's theatre, makes her an invaluable asset to Making Light and an inspiring force in the creative community.
