Zola Allen Geyer has quite literally grown up under the lights of Making Light Productions, where she has studied just about every art form that will stand still long enough—violin, piano, guitar, ukulele, voice, acting tap, jazz, ballet and, even makeup and special effects. A true musical explorer, Zola tumbles down new music rabbit holes every few weeks, joyfully wandering from Fleetwood Mac to Japanese City Pop, from old-school Country to Doris Day, and straight into the dreamy worlds of Wes Anderson film soundtracks.
When she isn’t onstage or in rehearsal, Zola can be found scrapbooking memories, laughing with friends, fueling up at Chipotle, or treasure-hunting at estate sales. With a heart tuned to both creativity and curiosity, she’s charting her path toward a degree in Musical Theatre Performance—because for Zola, the spotlight isn’t just a place to stand, it’s a place to tell beautiful stories that encourage meaningful connections.
