Alden Hutchison: Acting, Film Production, and Storytelling

Alden Hutchison is an educator, media specialist, actor, and film production instructor at Making Light Productions. She holds a degree in Communication from Florida State University with a focus in broadcasting, as well as a master’s degree in Library Science.

Alden has nearly 20 years of experience in education and media, including theatre workshops, student-run newscasts, digital media production, journalism, and production work with WFSU Public Media. She also directs student actors in a local homeschool drama program.

Her recent performance credits include the title role in Making Light Productions’ Pete the Cat. At Making Light, she teaches film production, acting, storytelling, storyboarding, and collaborative media creation through camps and workshops.
