Cecilia Malley is a soprano and recent graduate of Florida State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance in May 2025. While at FSU, she appeared as the Sandman in Hansel und Gretel and performed with Florida State Opera in The Cunning Little Vixen.
Equally at home in opera and musical theatre, Cecilia’s recent roles include Emma Carew (Jekyll & Hyde), Franca Nacarelli (The Light in the Piazza), and Amalia Balash (She Loves Me). She has also performed as a soprano soloist in Schubert’s Mass in G with the Capital Singers and appeared in numerous opera scene performances.
Cecilia has performed across Florida and beyond and was a Young Artist with Si Parla, Si Canta in Arona, Italy, where she studied with internationally renowned artists Chris Merritt and Kim Josephson. Her artistry has been recognized in multiple competitions, including first place in the Florida Federation of Music Clubs Competition and second place in the National Association of Teachers of Singing Musical Theatre Competition. She was also a finalist in both the NATS Classical Competition and the Charleston Music Competition.
