Danelle Eckhart is a music educator, choral director, performer, and private instructor in voice, piano, guitar, and ukulele. She serves as Choral Director at Florida State University Schools and co-sponsors the school’s Thespian program.

Danelle holds an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Policy from Florida State University, a Master of Music in Vocal Performance, and a Bachelor of Music Education from Illinois State University. She also holds an associate degree in Theatre from Illinois Central College.

Her teaching experience includes PK–8 general music, elementary through high school chorus, theatre, Orff ensemble, piano, guitar, voice, and instrumental instruction. As a soprano soloist, she has performed in major choral works including Bach’s St. John Passion and Dan Forrest’s Jubilate Deo.

At Making Light, Danelle provides private music instruction grounded in extensive classroom experience, formal music training, and practical performance skills.
