Jack Jammer is a local scenic designer and master carpenter who is honored to be a part of the incredible team at Making Light Productions, where he serves as Scenic Director.
He previously served as Production Manager and Master Carpenter at Quincy Music Theatre and holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. He spent five years working as an architectural designer for BKJ Architecture before transitioning to full-time theatrical work in 2021.
Jack currently freelances his design and carpentry work across the greater Big Bend area, collaborating with numerous theatres and schools including Theatre Tallahassee, Southern Shakespeare Company, Young Actors Theatre, Maclay School, Leon High School, Quincy Music Theatre, and Monticello Opera House.
His scenic work spans a wide range of productions, from the grand Antony & Cleopatra at the Adderley Theatre in Cascades Park to the intimate The Revolutionists at Theatre Tallahassee’s Studio.
He especially enjoys bringing the stage at MLP to life with detailed, functional designs that allow actors to move dynamically through the space and fully inhabit the world of each show.
