Julia Blagodir: Acting and Performance Coaching

Julia Blagodir is an acting and performance instructor at Making Light Productions with experience in theatre, film, songwriting, and recorded music. Originally from Moscow, Russia, she has worked and trained in Los Angeles and Tallahassee.
Julia has studied physical theatre and Fitzmaurice Voicework, which inform her approach to movement, breath, character development, and expressive performance. Her stage credits include Almost, Maine and Eurydice, and her screen credits include appearances in The Disaster Artist and The Way Back.
Julia works with beginning and experienced performers of different ages. Her lessons can focus on acting technique, audition preparation, monologues, script analysis, character development, acting for film, and individualized performance coaching.
